Ready to silence the chaos in your mind, body, & life?

Meet Tery Lambertt, Bilingual (Spanish) therapist throughout Florida

You can break the mold and live the peaceful life you have always wanted. You can choose yourself without turning your back on your family. You can learn to overcome the anxiety that has taken over your or your teen’s life.

Starting therapy is very scary and can even feel unnatural. Some may be terrified that they will be expected to open up immediately to a complete stranger.

I start with a structured approach, the intake. During the intake, I get an understanding of what you have been experiencing, what you want to achieve, and what your preferences are. By the end of the intake, you will feel more acquainted with my quirky laid-back style. I also utilize a lot of education and teach a variety of coping skills in the beginning. At this point, we can then begin to peel back the more complex layers that have led to where you are today.

My Style

I pride myself on being very attuned to my client’s needs. Clients often tell me during sessions that I am “reading their mind.” I also have an extremely laid-back approach where it will almost feel as if you are just meeting up with a friend each week. Yet, this “friend” will also call you out when needed and will push you to look at things you would rather ignore.

I work best with clients that are ready to do the work that comes with therapy. They are those that are open to seeing their own BS as much as their strengths and successes. I can be your biggest cheerleader in one session and your hard ass coach in another. My ideal clients are also individuals willing and able to do the work in between sessions that is necessary for lasting change. I engage best with individuals comfortable with cursing and with giving and receiving feedback so that we can ensure this process is always working for you.

What it’s like to work with me

What sets me apart is that I’m not just “preaching” this stuff. I did not learn it in a classroom somewhere and decide to test it out on you! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of professional experience. I have worked in a crisis center with people who are experiencing deep suffering, stress, and anxiety.

In addition to my professional experiences, I have a lifetime of personal experience.

I’m part of the first generation everything experience and the exhaustion, guilt, and enormous pressure that comes with being the first at everything. I am Cuban-American and have an in depth understanding that being bicultural often leaves you feeling like you don’t belong anywhere, not Cuban enough and not American enough.

Clients describe me as being honest, genuine and laid back. They report feeling understood in a way they had never experienced before. By the end of the first session, clients report feeling that I am the perfect balance between that “next door neighbor” feeling and the experienced professional they have been seeking. Most of the techniques I teach, I have utilized.

I have done the work necessary to take back control of my life, and I can help you do the same.
